Red Face

For a while I've been putting together a collaged mask to use on a location shoot, made from my usual subject matter of animals of course. Today, my friend kindly modelled for the shoot and drove me to the New Forest as woodland was the preferred setting. The look wasn't too dissimilar from the last shoot I did, except that focused more on feathers and this on the colours or shapes of the animal imagery I used to construct the mask. I reused the black faux fur I've used in previous shoots, originally bought for my window display at the end of Uni exhibition, to enhance a more primitive feel. This time round I focused more importance on colour and my model brought her Barry M eyeshadow, which was applied to any part of her face that would not be covered by the mask. Though it was extremely windy at times, I'm happy with the images I've come away with!
