A little while I stumbled across this image, a world map with the origins of all countries (the oceans too!), and finally remembered to post it. Some of my favourites are Argentina: Silver, Mali: Hippopotamus, Bhutan: Land of the Thunder Dragon, Comoros: Islands of the Moon and Chile: Where the land ends. You'll have to click on the image to read them properly, I personally found it really interesting!
