The title of this post pretty much sums up the biggest influence on the art I produce. This is down to spending quite a bit of time playing with tiger cubs, lemurs and snakes as a child. As I progressed through my final year at University on an Illustration course, I fed these influences into my work and it did me a huge favour as I came out of Uni with a first class degree! Although I have had no payed work as of yet, I'm still producing work and there are some exhibition possibilities in the future. I began using collage much more effectively in my final year of uni, which soon incorporated the use of Photoshop, and for my final project I also began coordinating photo shoots. The photographs taken were then combined with digital and handmade collage and manipulated on Photoshop. My final images featured influences from specific animals, such as the Bactrian Camel. Since then, I have completed several shoots where I have made masks from card which were not planned in advance. Below is a photograph taken from my most recent shoot.
