At the moment, wire is the best! I'm designing a headdress for 3rd year fashion student Lucy Barnes which will involve a lot of large feathers so I thought that, instead of card, wire would be much better suited and I ended up getting pretty wire crazy and have added to the headdress since taking the photos, it's definitely going to be the largest I've made so far! It's very much a work in progress but as for basic structure I'm pretty much there and also posted below are photos of a necklace I made using feathers given to me by Katie Allen as a christmas present.
