Although it is true that all ecosystems are subject to location shoots, it is the utilisation of the vast deserts in the world that I find particularly alluring. I briefly mentioned the influence of Tuareg culture on high fashion in a previous post but of course it does not stop with that specific group of people. In many desert shoots, the model wears clothing clearly inspired by nomadic design, equipped with robes and headscarves. To contrast with this, there is also the 'stranded' theme in which the models roam the seemingly endless desert expanses.
